According to an industry development report released by the Medical Device Supply Chain Branch of the China Logistics and Purchasing Federation on November 26, the market size of China's medical device industry is expected to reach 1.25 trillion yuan in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 16%.
"With the continuous deepening of the 'Healthy China' strategy, the country has issued a series of policies to encourage innovation in medical devices, accelerating the eva1uation of innovative medical devices. In recent years, China's medical device industry has maintained a steady development trend." On November 28th, Qin Yuming, Secretary General of the Medical Device Supply Chain Branch of the China Logistics and Purchasing Federation, told People's Daily Health Client reporters.
The report "Development Status and Trends of China's Medical Device Industry" released on May 4th this year shows that the Chinese medical device market has exceeded 900 billion yuan in 2022; The 2021 China Medical Device Industry Report shows that the market size of medical devices in China was 629 billion yuan in 2019, which is double the 308 billion yuan in 2015.
